A butterfly begins life as an egg. The egg hatches and out comes a caterpillar. The caterpillar grows shedding its skin several times. At full size it becomes a pupa in a hard shell. After a while the shell cracks open and out squeezes a new butterfly. Butterflies love the sunshine. If you walk in a garden on a sunny day you will often find beautiful butterflies feeding on the nectar of bright flowers and blossoms. Their lovely colours are made up of millions of minute scales that overlap one after another and cover the wings. These can only be seen through a microscope, as they are as fine as dust. Butterflies shouldn’t be picked up as this rubs off the scales, making flight difficult.

Cats are known as domestic animals.
Cats are part of the mammals’ family.
They use types of body language to communicate such as: meowing, purring, hissing and growling.
Cats are the most popular in the world.
These animals are also breed and shown as registered pedigree pets.
Their size is approximately 2.5 – 7 kg.
Cats use their claws to protect themselves.
Those on the forefeet are typically sharper than those of the hind feet.
Cat night vision is superior than human vision although their vision in day light is inferior.

They also do not have a swim bladder the air filled balloon- like organ that keeps most fish upright .Sharks have gills slits but no gill-cover , which is common to most bony fish .Because they have no swim bladder to keep them buoyant sharks-sink when not swimming .Sharks bodies are heavier than water and most sharks are constantly on the move .By moving forward with their mouths open , sharks move water across their gills for breathing .A shark is the most best hunters in the world .the great white shark is between 12-16 feet long and can grow to 19-21 feet .The whale shark is the largest fish .

Grey wolves are members of the dogs family, wich also includes dogs, foxes, jackals and coyotes. They are the largest of all wild dogs. Their weight usually ranges between 60 and 135 pounds (27 and 60 kilograms).
The grey wolf is one of three species of wolves; the two others are the red wolf of the southeasterm United states and the maned wolf of south America.
Grey wolves mainly hunt large , hoofed animals including moose , white-tailed deer, mule deer, caribou, elk,bison and mountian goats. Wolves also sometimes eat hares, beavers and birds.
When a grey wolf pup is born , it only weighs about one pound, the same four sticks of butter. The scientific name of the grey wolf is Canis lupus. A grey wolf usually lives for six to eight years . The “big bad wolf ” reputation of wolves is undeserved.Wolves almost never attac humans. In North America,no human has ever been killed by a healthy wolf.A wolf often eats about 20 pounds (9 kilograms) of food at one meal.That`s about the same amout of food as 8o hambergers!

The Norwegian forest cat
As indicated by the name the Norwegian forest cat originted in Norway.It is a hurdy sturdy cat with a thick haevy coat well equipped to survive in the harsh scandinvinan winters.They have almond shaped eyes and sweet expressions.
Siberian.
“Siberian” is the name given to Russia’s native semi longhair. This large , powerful cat is still quite rare in the U.S and is not yet widely recognizedb. Brown tubby is perheps the most common colour scheme but many others are avilable as well.
